Hair Extension Care Tips
Hair extension should be handled with care to avoid damage to the extension hair. Shampoos and Conditioners: Expensive shampoos have very little relation to effectiveness of the maintenance of extension hair. Conditioners claim that they nourish hair, but cannot do so unless they contain transformants. This means they would have molecules small enough to penetrate and seep into the cortex. Using conditioner with these molecules make the hair smooth and easy to comb and brush through. Look for conditioners contain 'Benzal Ronium Chlorid', 'Polymers', 'Collage', 'Silicone' or 'Resin'. Those are good conditioners that coat the hair shaft, protecting and smoothing it, reducing snarls and tangles. Apply conditioner from root down to end of extension hair and give a final rinse. If you are not sure which shampoo and conditioner to use, try the protein shampoo and conditioner in one. You can also ask your professional hair care specialist's advice. Proper Shampooing: Whether dry or greasy, you can wash your extensions as often as required to look good, even every day. Very dry hair can be improved by massaging hair with deep conditioner, leaving on 30 minutes and washing out. Proper Washing: Wet your extensions completely with warm water. This will help to rinse dust, dirt, and hair product. Apply the shampoo to the scalp first with fingers. Do not tangle or scrub, while working shampoo down to the ends. Repeat this action until water is clear onnly once. Don't over cleanse. It can make extension hair dehydrated. Drying: Rinse thoroughly, being careful not to leave shampoo residue. It can dry out the hair and irritate the scalp. Do very little detangle combing of your extension hair while it is wet to avoid excessive dry your hair naturally. If not blow out carefully leaving your hair slightly damp. Styling Tips:
